Public talk held by Aleksandr Nikolaev (a.k.a Zakhar), in the St. Petersburg Zoology Museum, 1992.

“In the same way that mushrooms are able to receive radio waves, elephants are able to transmit them. According to recent reports from zoo-stomatologists, the hyothesis has been confirmed that elephants resemble the dolphin in certain ways. Aside from their natural character traits – amiability, herding, brooding and interaction with humans – they are similar in that they can transmit different signals within radio frequency. However, the scientists are divided as to the means of transmission: with the tail, the trunk or the tusks. But they agree on the most important point: that elephants have the capacity to transmit.

But to whom? Why? Where to?

Regarding the discovery of skeletons buried deep in the earth, it has been concluded that elephants were originally a subterranean species.

Obviously, under the earth the trunk served as a directional guide, with which it worked itself forward; the tusks would loosen the earth, to be shoveled out of the way by the large ears.

Naturally, the tail went unused in this process, but served rather as a means of mutual recognition among the individual beings; that is, a as transmitter. Soundwaves, of course, cannot travel under the earth.

Traces of the elephants' achievements are found in the form of caves and volcanic formations – evidence of their oldest works.

The declining temperature and the resulting Ice Age impeded subterranean mobility, forcing the elephants to migrate and to have to acclimate to a terrestrial as well as aquatic existence. The latter became the so-called dolphins.

The images of elephants discovered on cave walls discovered by speleologists and archeologists stand as proof of their prehistoric habitation sites.

In the course of evolution, they adapted themselves to life on the surface of the planet. Audio communication developed, the legs became longer and their fur disappeared. The ears developed to serve as sound reflectors and receivers and as fly repellers. Despite all evolutionary cataclysms, they still possess the original ability to transmit signals with the tail. Of great importance is their active involvement with the earth's surface. Their herding insured the firm packing of the earth, crucial for the development of other life form such as man.

The aquatic species of elephant distinguish themselves only slightly from their subterranean forefathers.

The lengthy snout of the dolphin is merely a remnant of the trunk, while the dolphin's flippers were once the elephants legs. The extended trunk and the ability to communicate through supersonic signals are the only remaining common features.

Furthermore, information gathered on the dolphin might possibly aid scientists in deciphering the old language of the elephants."
